A hugely important part of this project has been our weekly meetings. They have taken place in animation studios, offices, bars, lecture theatres, restaurants, streets, seminar rooms, corridors, etc.
On top of that there have been Skype meetings, phone meetings, text conversations, emails, tweets, facebooking, blogging and even good old-fashioned talking! You name it, we have met and talked about it some-how, some-way. And this is why we are still going strong with the project. Despite the fact that all the students are now very busy with their other projects, despite the fact that Derek and myself have lots of other work to do, our communications on Deep have always been strong and we talk through everything at our weekly or bi-weekly meetings. In between that we discuss it by email, text and facebook. And where would we be without Dropbox? Two years ago I had not heard of Dropbox. It is hard now to remember the wold without it.
Not too many as I have realised since I took these pics that there is only one thing duller than a meeting and that is a photograph of a meeting. Having said that, a Deep meeting is normally quite fun. You just had to be there...
